The second show of the season came around and again Lowri ventured out with another new one but this time he is not a novice but the pair together are novice!
Lowri is riding Mr & Mrs Spenser’s Felinmor Triple Crown. After 6 years of rest Triple Crown is back out under saddle but this time with Lowri on board.
They have started the season great by winning 2 classes and going Overall Ridden Champion at the Show.
‘Crown’ behaved very well and took it all in his stride even after his long break away from the ridden ring.
Well Done Lowri

‘Brutus’ behaved very well for his first time.

Today saw the day when Lowri and Julie Ann took the stage in London. They put on a beautiful show to gain the top ride mark from the Large Breeds M & M’s.
Julie Ann stood on joint marks with Brynseion Bendigo but with Bendigo having the Best of Breed from the awarding confirmation marks he had.
Lowri and Julie Ann enjoyed every second of the day and gained great experience.
This is the show that Nebo Julie Ann and Lowri qualified to from Pembrokshire County Show in August and was the final stage to qualify for Olympia. They had 2 chances a class on the Saturday and another class on the Sunday.
Julie Ann and Lowri struck lucky again winning the class on the Saturday which meant they quslified for Olympia which is to be held at Earls Court, London on the 23rd of December.
Mam argued and argued with me that we shouldn’t go all the way to Grantham after winning HOYS the week before but I was right and it was a well earned trip to Grantham and the journey on the way home did not seem as long as the journey up!!!!!!!
What a day this was!
Nebo Julie Ann and Lowri Reed won the Section D Ridden Class having marks of 45 for ride and 48 for conformation.
Lowri had …….. her dream which was to lead that lap of honour around the ring to the music.
The day just got better and better as they then went on to be Reserve M&M Champion to the Highland, Stirlingdene which went on to be Supreme of the Show.
They were the Best of the Welsh Breeds though!
This was a day to remember and certainly a turning point for Lowri’s and Julie Ann’s success.
We would like to thank everyone that made this dream possible and for all the good luck wishes we receive prior to HOYS and the congratulations we received after. It really does mean a lot to us adn we cannot thank you enough.
Thank you and Well Done Julie Ann and Lowri.
